Services

The Palmetto 8 Condominium Association assesses each unit monthly dues based upon the relative size of the unit. The dues collected are used to maintain and improve the property and to build a reserve fund for unexpected problems. A regularly issued report of all finances is provided to all owners by the Treasurer.

The monthly dues are used primarily to pay for property management, fire and security features, common area cleaning and maintenance, exterior grounds keeping, and insurance. The monthly dues are set each year with the approval of the budget by all owners.

The policies and rules of the complex are set by the members of the Palmetto 8 Condominium Association, and its Board of Directors according to Tennessee law. These are contained in the Master Deed for the property and the Policies and Regulations that are linked here. Management of the property is provided by Selby-Webb Property Management, 423-490-9797.

The reserve fund has been used in the past for exterior painting and parking lot repaving and painting. Future projects using the reserve funds are under consideration.
